Field Medic at 29th Street Ballroom 4/7

On Tuesday, April 7, Field Medic brought his 'Surrender Instead' tour to Austin, Texas at the 29th Street Ballroom. Announcing that this was a tour of playing "deep cuts," Field Medic played fan favorites he usually doesn't show off on the road, such as "i will not mourn who i was that has gone away," and "Crushed Pennies," as well as newer tracks off of his latest record, surrender instead. Joined by opener, Beaming, freak folk and indie rock tunes filled the dimly lit room under a shining disco ball throughout the night.
