LA-based pop group MUNA is bringing their ‘Gets So Hot Tour’ to Texas this weekend. The international tour is set to travel to 33 cities this fall, with Texas placed at the very beginning of the run. Joined by Hemlocke Springs, MUNA will bring the show to Austin on Saturday, September 19, at Moody Amphitheater and to Dallas on Sunday, September 20, at The Bomb Factory.

MUNA released their fourth studio album, Dancing On The Wall, on May 8, 2026. The record, while ultimately having a quintessentially pop tracklist, showcases an edgier, heavier sound compared to the rest of MUNA’s discography. The production invites 80s-reminiscent synths and grungy bass lines, creating a nearly 40-minute record that is perfect for the dancefloor. The band celebrated the new release with a handful of select shows in New York City, Los Angeles, and London earlier this summer.

The infectious energy pulsing through this new record is meant to be translated onstage. MUNA proves this with recent jam-packed performances at Hinterland, Lollapalooza, and Capitol Hill Block Party. Each set, played to crowds that spanned farther than the eye could see, showcased stunningly bold visuals, daring vocals, and a crowd having what appeared to be the time of their lives. With the official fall leg of the 'Gets So Hot Tour' starting in Phoenix this Thursday, fans are eager to see what the new show holds.

Concertgoers should expect to sing, dance, cry, and most importantly, sweat it out. With the hot summer heat still lingering in Texas, there’s no better way to spend a warm summer night than screaming along to Dancing On The Wall with MUNA. Bring your friends, stay hydrated, and wear your best dancing shoes.
